Hi Diners! Dress the Table and Dinners in the DR partnered to bring a bonus blog and highlight some of the many vintage Asian items in the Dress the Table collection of vintage pieces available for rent at www.dressthetable.jacobsendesign.com.
Well, it always starts with one item. In this case, a beautiful Chinese robe in orange and turquoise. The inspiration for this table.
I used these pieces from the Dress the Table inventory, to create a Chinese “lunar new year” table.
These colorful pheasant bowls are one of my favorite, but I do have an proclivity for orange! They paired beautifully with these Fitz and Floyd “Temple Dragon” plates, and this amazing chrysanthemum runner. Each of these pieces is available through Dress the Table.
Here is the finished table…enjoy!
Dress the Table has over 50 china patterns (along with a variety of glassware, flatware and hollow-ware, as well as linens) that can create a beautiful table whatever your celebration!
Thanks for stopping today, hope you enjoyed this impromptu table-setting. See you soon, until then enjoy something beautiful! ~d
